  • LCG has issued new Mardi Gras rules that will close streets and set up barricades from Feb. 5 through Feb. 17 to ensure safety during parades. Residents and visitors should follow parking and transit changes on parade days.  KATC

  • Residents recall last year's blizzard that dropped nearly nine inches of snow as officials brace for a potential winter blast with icy conditions expected this weekend. Mayor Ray Bourque (Broussard) said emergency crews are ready to address water system leaks if needed.  News 15
