- ➤ Lafayette Animal Shelter and Care Center will host a low-cost microchip clinic on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 410 N. Dugas Road, where pet owners can secure a microchip for $15 with lifetime registration. City of Lafayette
- ➤ Acadiana warming shelters are preparing for more visitors as an Arctic blast approaches this weekend. The Dupuis Center and Brown Park gym in Lafayette (serving 200 people today) and a Prudhomme Street shelter in St. Landry will offer safe refuge until warmer weather returns. News 15
