  • Lafayette’s new crawfish price tracking app, SackTrackr, offers vendors a stock tracker style interface — users see live and boiled prices plus market averages as the season heats up.   • LSU baseball takes on Dartmouth today at 1 p.m. on SEC Network (with streaming available on the ESPN app) at Alex Box Stadium as part of a four-game round robin following wins on Friday and Saturday.  The Daily Advertiser
  • Teurlings Catholic Rebels won the Division II state championship Friday with a 2-1 overtime victory over Prairieville at Strawberry Stadium in Hammond. (It is their first title in 17 years.)  The Advocate
  • Carencro secured a 69-51 playoff win over Bonnabel on Friday thanks to strong bench efforts from Dentrell Morrison and senior Kendrick Bernard. They will face No-2 Alexandria today in the regional round, with coach Kovatch planning a new game plan.  The Advocate
  • Louisiana baseball dropped game one of a three-game series against UC San Diego on Feb. 27 at Russo Park—M.L. 'Tigue' Moore Field and played game two on Feb. 28. Coach Matt Deggs hoped lefty Andrew Herrmann would spark a turnaround after the team lost its seven-game winning streak.  The Daily Advertiser
