- ➤ Lafayette fitness icon Red Lerille died Friday at 88 and will be honored with a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 22 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary, Mother of the Church — interment is set at Holy Mary Mother of God Cemetery while family visitation is held Friday from 1 to 7 p.m. at Martin and Castille’s downtown location. - ➤ Duson police arrested two suspects in Lafayette on Saturday, March 15 after a shooting on the 800 block of First Street left two people injured — one suffered shrapnel injuries and another received treatment for a gunshot wound to the leg. KATC
