- ➤ Southside High School welcomed students from Ovey Comeaux High School Thursday evening as part of the Lafayette Parish School System's rezoning plan that will shift 208 students to Southside when Comeaux closes at the end of the 2025-26 school year (campus tours and meet-and-greets helped ease the transition).
