- ➤ Moncus Park will host Acadiana's Louisiana Iris Festival this weekend where visitors can view one of the largest collections of Louisiana irises; Al Hebert offers a preview presented by the Bayou Vermilion District. News 15

- ➤ School and economic development leaders met last week to brainstorm a new Career Center with flexible, naturally lit classrooms to meet workforce needs.
