- ➤ Once Was Inc honored local Vietnam veterans & their spouses with a meal of remembrance at the Lafayette VA Clinic Friday to mark National Vietnam War Veterans Day. The event kicked off a weekend designed to ensure veterans feel seen, supported, and appreciated. KATC

- ➤ Local coffee lovers gathered Saturday morning at Lafayette's second Coffee Festival where 19 Acadiana vendors offered free samples and coffee classes + demonstrations on coffee flavor and home roasting basics. KATC
- ➤ Lafayette’s annual Holi Festival took place at Girard Park Saturday, drawing crowds with South Asian music, dancing, and food from local vendors. The event (its 14th year) celebrated spring’s renewal by tossing colored powders and honoring tradition after an official city proclamation. KATC

- ➤ UL Lafayette and South Louisiana Community College signed a transfer agreement on March 26 to let SoLAcc graduates transfer 55 credits into UL Lafayette’s online bachelor's program in health services administration — a pathway that promises greater career opportunities in a growing field. - ➤ The University of Louisiana at Lafayette planted a tree along St. Julien Street to honor Jim Bollich, a 104-year-old survivor of the Bataan Death March. He received the Congressional Gold Medal in 2018 but was unable to attend the ceremony due to poor health. News 15
