ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ In Lafayette, heavy rains are forecast to begin this afternoon and may cause severe flash flooding as officials track rising river levels—rain totals are expected to reach 3 to 6 inches by Friday with low-lying areas at risk for road closures. The Advocate
