- ➤ Dozens gathered today on Lee Avenue in downtown Lafayette for a Mother's Day rally organized by Indivisible Acadiana to protest policies seen as threats to women's rights and essential services. Speaker Tia LeBrun and other protesters stressed defending reproductive rights+urged people to vote while free emergency plan B pills+pills were provided at the event. KATC
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Artists are invited to submit work to the Lafayette Art Association's Art of Recycling show focused on reuse, repurposing, and recycling. Submissions began on May 10 and remain open until May 17 during gallery hours; the exhibit will run May 20—June 14 with a public reception on May 24. KATC
