Boulet announced that the Fourth of July celebration, presented by LUS and LFT Fiber, will be held on July 4 at Parc International on 200 Garfield Street in downtown Lafayette. - ➤ Officials with the Louisiana Economic Development office, One Acadiana and Acadia Parish said today that Oklahoma-based Green Fuels Operating PC will transform the former Evangeline Processing Facility into a net-zero refinery with a $110 million investment that creates 60 jobs with an $80,000 average salary — construction will start in November and finish in May 2026.
