- ➤ Families, cancer survivors and supporters gathered on Saturday at Blackham Coliseum for the 25th Annual Games of Acadiana fundraiser benefiting Miles Perret Cancer Services. - ➤ The Lafayette Parish School System named Ebony Moten as the new principal of the Lerosen Preparatory Program on May 26. She brings (24 years of LPSS experience) in leadership roles that boost student success. BY Local News
- ➤ Garrett Kreamer left his previous role to become the first high school football coach at Vermilion Charter Academy, located a few miles west of Maurice on Louisiana 92. The academy is building its high school wing and will launch a junior varsity schedule as Kreamer hires his team. The Advocate
