- ➤ Saint Martin Parish drivers may see small electronic devices on roads as DOTD installs traffic count devices for future planning—Lafayette Parish School Board will hold a custodian job fair Monday from 8 a.m. to noon and Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.—and the Girard Park pool reopened today after six years of closure. - ➤ Acadiana’s rising soul artist ADO SOUL, a St. Mary Parish native, has been selected to perform live at the BET Awards Red Carpet Pre-Show in Los Angeles as part of Crowd Stars 2025—BET’s official talent competition celebrating the Awards’ 25th Anniversary—and he will bring Louisiana flair to a national stage.
