- ➤ Today, two KFC locations in Lafayette and one in New Iberia closed abruptly. Customers found closure notices at the restaurants on Ambassador Caffery Parkway and Kaliste Saloom Road and at the New Iberia site—no official explanation was given. News 15
- ➤ On July 3, Lafayette held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Vino Wine and Liquor on South College Road in the Oil Center.
