Lafayette police responded to a shooting before 8:30 p.m. Friday night on the 300 block of Adelma Street where a domestic dispute led 25-year-old Berrien Brown — the victim’s partner — to shoot his partner, injuring them and prompting his arrest on charges of attempted second-degree murder and firearm possession.
