- ➤ The Lafayette Police Department appointed Dorian Brabham as its new deputy chief after a thorough review of internal candidates—his 23 years of law enforcement experience and advanced academic credentials support his role in ensuring long-term stability. - ➤ Lafayette Consolidated Government announced the 2025 to 2026 Youth Advisory Council (a group of high school students from across the parish) to learn about local government and help with community service.
