  • Former Lafayette police officer Kyle Jagneaux fatally shot Phillip Francis Jr. at Woodspring Suites Hotel after an altercation on Friday at 2:20 p.m.—he was booked on one count of manslaughter with a $50,000 bond.  The Advocate
