- ➤ The Lafayette Police Department informed the Lafayette Parish School System about the arrest of Robert Gautreaux—former Director of Construction, Maintenance and Facilities—on charges of injuring public record and filing false public records following a lengthy investigation in which LPSS fully cooperated; all evidence has been turned over to the District Attorney’s Office. - ➤ Lafayette kept its Class 7 rating in the National Flood Insurance Program’s Community Rating System, meaning residents and businesses will still get a 15% discount on flood insurance.
