- ➤ Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Church on UL Lafayette's campus is nearing completion as its steel framework is almost finished and masonry will begin in November—set for 2026. The church will hold a topping out ceremony on October 6 and finish construction in about one year before the old facility is deconsecrated and the new building is dedicated from November through January.
