- ➤ Mississippi-based Merchants & Marine Bank reached a deal to acquire FM Bank of Breaux Bridge in an all-cash transaction and plans to finalize the merger in the second quarter pending regulatory approval. FM Bank will continue using its name and Fred Mills will remain as CEO while its six branches in Lafayette, Breaux Bridge and Arnaudville serve customers with nearly $328 million in deposits.
